1. How do I know if I was appointed to a board or commission?

Once City Council has voted and an appointment has been made at a regular meeting of the City Council, each applicant will receive an email notifying him or her of their appointment status.

2. What happens if I am not appointed?

Your application will be kept on file in the City Clerk's Office for one year. Should another vacancy occur, you will be contacted and asked if you wish to have your application considered for the new vacancy. Do not be discouraged if you are not selected to serve on a board at this time. Many current board members will tell you that they applied several times before being appointed.
