Bikes and Peds

Calling all volunteers!

Every other year the City of Durango performs bicycle and pedestrian counts as part of the National Bicycle and Pedestrian Documentation Project. This year, the counts will be undertaken with volunteers from September 11 to 17. This City is seeking a total of 99 2-hour volunteers spots at 11 in-town locations. Sign up for one of the 2-hour shifts and receive an appreciation gift! Click here to choose a location and sign up.

Did You Know?

As a cost saving measure on 9/1/1896, the City stopped paying for ice for City Hall.  This may have been a token gesture, as the monthly cost (noted in the list of bills in the minutes of this meeting) was two dollars.
