City of Durango Veterans Day schedule

Durango, CO: The following is the City of Durango’s schedule for Veterans Day, observed Friday, Nov. 10: 

•          City administrative offices will be closed. This includes City Hall, River City Hall, Police Station and Substation, Transit Center, Greenmount Cemetery and Parks and Recreation administrative offices, and Santa Rita Water Reclamation Facility.

•          Durango Parks and Recreation: The Recreation Center, Durango Gymnastics and Chapman Hill will be open with regular hours.

•          The Durango-La Plata County Airport will offer regularly scheduled commercial service. The airport administration office will be closed. Travelers are encouraged to arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes prior to scheduled departure.

•          Durango Public Library will be closed both Friday, Nov. 10, and Saturday, Nov. 11. 

•          Commercial and residential trash and recycling pickup will occur as scheduled Monday-Friday. The Durango Recycle Center will be closed Friday, Nov. 10, and Saturday, Nov. 11.  

•          Durango Transit WILL operate Nov. 11. The Transit Center and Transit Center Customer Service window will be closed. 

•          Parking at meters is FREE downtown on both Friday, Nov. 10, and Saturday, Nov. 11.
