Way to Go Durango mobile app launching in September


Durango, CO: The City of Durango’s multimodal division is rebranding their commute tracking program. The rebrand will include an app called, Way To Go Durango. It is a trip planning, riding sharing, and commute tracking app that will be launching September 4, 2023. This app is for everyone, whether you’re interested in saving money on commuting, you’re tired of traffic or parking, you want to learn how to commute sustainably, or you want to earn rewards for commuting sustainably.

Primary logowtgdurangoWay to Go Durango is a rewards program for local commuters who opt to reduce the emissions impact of their commute by walking, biking, riding the bus, or carpooling. Members who track their sustainable commutes can earn points that can be redeemed for prizes. app logo

The goal of Way To Go Durango is to first, reduce the number of single occupancy vehicles on the road; second, remove barriers for sustainable commuters; and third, provide resources for sustainable commuters to travel how they wish. These goals aim to reduce traffic congestion, improve air quality, reduce carbon emissions, support sustainable behavior, and promote a healthy and active lifestyle.
