Feedback sought on Spring, Fall city cleanup program

CleanupSurvey

Durango, CO:  The City of Durango is seeking public feedback on the benefits and drawbacks of Spring and Fall Cleanup services. Residents are asked to fill out a short 5-minute survey to rank the pros and cons of the current service structure and to provide their thoughts on possible alternatives.

At this time, no changes to Spring and Fall Cleanup services are being implemented. This public feedback survey is a preliminary step on considering the benefits and drawbacks to the current systems compared to possible alternatives.

For over a decade, the City of Durango has provided Spring and Fall cleanup services throughout our community. When the program was first established, there was an identified need to provide residents the “opportunity to remove debris and accumulated vegetation from their property at a low cost, thereby improving and maintaining the beauty of the City.” While this goal still holds true to this day, the City is evaluating these services to see if they are still the most effective way to achieve this goal.

For more information on the fall and spring cleanup, please visit the city’s website.”
