Snow routes in effect

Snow Routes sign

Durango, CO: Winter weather has put the city of Durango's snow routes into effect.

There is NO PARKING on designated snow routes whenever more than 2 inches or more of snow accumulates on the roadways; any vehicle parked on a designated snow route may be removed from the roadway. The fine for failing to move a vehicle from a snow route is $25-$50 plus towing and storage fees.

Visit https://www.durangogov.org/342/Snow-Removal for information on snow removal, plowing order, and to view a map of snow routes. Removing vehicles from snow routes allows city snow plows to more quickly and efficiently make arterial streets passible.

To sign up sign up for alerts from the city, visit www.durangogov.org/notifyme.
