On Friday, June 17 at 7 p.m. residents are welcomed to the Durango Community Recreation Center lawn to turn their bikes into cardboard creatures for the parade. Following that event is another Movies in the Park night where the feature film will be the live action movie, Mulan.
Three days before the parade, on July 1 at 7 p.m., an event will be held to decorate bikes and streamers at Buckley Park. The feature film for Movies in the Park that night will be the Sandlot.
