Do you wish your neighborhood was more walkable or accessible? Do you have ideas on how to make Durango’s transportation network more equitable? The city has been holding neighborhood open house events to gather feedback on multimodal transportation needs in Durango to help guide updates to the city’s Multimodal Transportation Plan.
Residents are invited to the last open house on Friday, Feb. 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Union Social House, 3062 Main Avenue. The event, held in tandem with the Winter Bike to Work Day celebration, will focus on potential improvements to multimodal transportation in the North Main corridor. Participants will be able to provide input via interactive poster boards at the event.
“This is a great opportunity for residents to give their two cents on how to make it easier to get around Durango without a car while also celebrating sustainable transportation and Winter Bike to Work Day,” Multimodal Administrator Devin King said.
Can’t make the open house? Share your ideas on an interactive map or by emailing comments to multimodal@DurangoGov.org
