Chapman Ski Hill, Durango’s in-town, affordable ski area with 500 vertical feet of terrain, opened for the season on Monday, Dec. 20.
The ski area includes a bumps course and park features and ski and snowboard lessons. Currently, the larger of the two tow ropes is in operation. Enjoy tubing when conditions permit. Call 970-375-7395 for up-to-date conditions.
Winter break hours are listed below:
Dec. 21 to Jan. 3
Weekends and weekdays: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Closed on Dec. 25 (Christmas Day) and Jan. 1 (New Year’s Day)
Regular Season Hours Start Jan. 4
Monday - Friday: 3:30 to 8 p.m.
Saturday - Sundays: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Ski Hill Fees
3 years old & under: Free
Youth 4 to 5: $6 a day or $24 for a 5-Punch Pass and $48 for a Season Pass
Youth 6 to 17: $14 a day or $56 for a 5-Punch Pass and $112 for a Season Pass
Adult: $16 a day or $64 for a 5-Punch Pass and $128 for a Season Pass
Senior: $5 a day or $40 for a 5-Punch Pass and $100 for a Season Pass
Family Pass: Purchase two regular-priced season passes and get half off passes for additional family members.
