Starting Friday, November 20, community members will need to make reservations to use the Durango Community Recreation Center. This is to comply with new capacity limits associated with La Plata County’s move to COVID-19 Dial Level Red: Severe Risk.
Reservations can be made for the pools, fitness classes, track, aerobics studio and areas where fitness equipment is located. Reservations can be made online up to seven days in advance at DurangoGov.org/reccenter. As a courtesy to all, please cancel your reservation if your plans change to allow others to use the facility.
Modified Recreation Center hours are:
- Monday – Friday: 6:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Due to capacity limits and to ensure the safety of participants, there is no open recreational swim at this time. For more information about reservations, go to DurangoGov.org/reccenter or call (970) 375-7300.
Chapman Hill Ice Rink will be closed Friday, November 20. Reservations will be required to use the facility starting Saturday, November 21. Reservation information will be posted Friday at DurangoGov.org/chapmanhill
