Are you missing the youth programming at Durango Public Library? The Library will offer weekly Activity Kits for curbside pickup every Tuesday beginning September 8. The kits will be available through the end of the year (excluding holiday weeks).
Activity Kits include supplies for one project. Kits are available for preschool, elementary school and teen age groups. A new Activity Kit will be released every Tuesday and will be available while supplies last. To request a kit, email reference@DurangoGov.org or call (970) 375-3380.
Initial funding for the Activity Kits was provided by Friends of the Durango Public Library. This project is also made possible by the Institute of Museum and Library Services grant 45.310: State Library Program.
The Institute of Museum and Library Services is the primary source of federal support for the nation’s libraries and museums. We advance, support, and empower America’s museums, libraries, and related organizations through grantmaking, research, and policy development. Our vision is a nation where museums and libraries work together to transform the lives of individuals and communities. To learn more, visit imls.gov and follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
