Durango Transit offers free service for Snowdown Parade

Get a free ride to A Rockin’ Snowdown Parade on Friday, January 31! The City of Durango has partnered with Snowdown, the Durango Business Improvement District and Ride Responsible to offer free, convenient downtown access via Durango Transit. The Main Avenue Trolley and all Durango loop routes will be free of charge all day.

There also will be two free special service shuttles serving the north and south ends of Durango on January 31 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m.

  • The south shuttle will serve the transit stop in front of Mercy Hospital, as well as the corner of Confluence Ave. and Mercado St. in Three Springs (outside of Digs Restaurant) approximately every 40 minutes, beginning at 3:00 p.m. The downtown drop-off location will be the Transit Center on 8th Street. The final shuttle will depart the Transit Center at 9:00 p.m.
  • The north shuttle will run between the Transit Center and the Fairgrounds approximately every 20 minutes beginning at 3:00 p.m. The final shuttle will depart the Transit Center at 9:00 p.m.
