Additional fare information

  • Fares are subject to change without notice.
  • Fort Lewis College students can ride the fixed-route buses for free. Students will need a sticker on their Skycard or an active pass on their phone. Current FLC students can redeem their free mobile ticket here.
  • Fort Lewis College and Durango School District 9-R staff can purchase a pass during the school year (August - July) for $30 with school ID.
  • Durango Transit accepts exact change only onboard.
  • Passes may be purchased at the Transit Center located at 250 West Eighth Street, Monday through Friday from 8am - 5pm.
  • Children age 5 and under ride free.


2023 Low income transit pass available to eligible applicants

The City of Durango is now accepting applications for the Low Income Transit Pass program. The Low Income Transit Pass program allows qualified applicants to purchase monthly passes at a reduced rate of $20 per month for a standard pass and $15 a month for a Youth, Senior or Disabled pass. Only one application is required per household. If approved, all household members listed on the application will be eligible for a Low Income Transit Pass.

Applications are available only at the Transit Center ticket window located at 250 West 8th Street (M-F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
