Trash and Recycling FAQ

  1. What are the hours at the Recycle Center?
    Tuesday through Saturday 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.

  2. What can I recycle?
    See our List of Accepted Single Stream Recycling items.

  3. When can I recycle electronics?
    Residents can bring up to 6 items on Saturday only between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
    Commercial electronics recycling needs to call to schedule an appointment for Friday time slots between 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. 

  4. What does an overfill charge on your bill mean?
    We require Trash and Recycling can lids to be completely closed in order to be serviced properly.

  5. My can wasn't serviced, what happened?
    Give us a call and we will look up your address and find an answer for you.

  6. My cans lid isn't closing or the locking mechanism isn't working, how can I get it fixed?
    Give us a call and we will be able to put in a work order to repair or replace. Please note that we ask the can to be out accessibly between the hours of 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. during the week until someone comes by.

  7. During winter storms, are we still running our normal routes?
    As long as it is safe to do so, we will follow our routes as planned. If certain areas are not accessible safely we will not enter the area.

    8. We run most routes as normal; if a holiday lands on a Monday, routes will run one day later then normal. Please check out our webpage to see when holidays are.
