CORONAVIRUS EMERGENCY MEETING ADJUSTMENTS
Due to the ongoing Coronavirus emergency and the safer-at-home order, the City of Durango has adjusted public meeting procedures. Community members can submit their comments about an agenda item via email, the appropriate email can be found by clicking on the associated meeting agenda below; or some meetings will allow the public to attend the virtual meeting using the Zoom app. Links to all scheduled virtual meetings can be found at DurangoGov.org/Zoom. Please ensure you have the Zoom app installed, and updated, on your computer or mobile device prior to joining the meeting (https://zoom.us/download).
Regular City Council meetings can be viewed live, starting at 6:30 p.m. on the day of the meeting, on Durango Government Television (DGOV) on Spectrum cable channel 191 or 981, over-the-air with an antenna on channel 10.1, or streaming online at DurangoGov.org/DGOV or Facebook.com/CityofDurango. All study sessions, board, and commission meetings will continue to be audio only, and can be accessed below when clicking the “view media” link next to the appropriate agenda.
Public Comment can be shared at a meeting with a scheduled Public Participation agenda item. If the meeting does not have Public Participation scheduled, comments can be submitted via email to: PublicComment@DurangoGov.org. Comments must be submitted no later than noon on the Monday preceding the meeting. Each email should contain the corresponding agenda item in the subject line of the email. The sender’s full name and address should be included for the record. If comment by email is not possible, comments may also be placed in the drop box located in front of City Hall no later than noon on the Monday preceding the meeting. Comments directed at a legislative public hearing subject will be read into the record as part of the hearing process. All other comments will be made available to the Council or Board within a reasonable time.
Below is a list of future meetings, meetings for the week, and past meetings. If there are no links associated with a meeting, that means the agenda documentation has not been finalized. You can also view a list of meetings in a calendar layout.
