1. Welcome to Durango-La Plata County Airport

The Durango - La Plata County Airport (DRO) is the primary regional airport for southwest Colorado, northwest New Mexico, and the entire Four Corners Region.  DRO is served by American Airlines and United Airlines, offering daily non-stop routes to Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), Denver (DEN), and Phoenix (PHX).  Seasonal routes include Chicago (ORD), Houston (IAH) and Los Angeles (LAX).  DRO welcomed over 390,000 passengers in 2019 and contributes $293 million annually to the regional economy.

The Durango – La Plata County Airport terminal is open.  Airlines are operating on adjusted schedules.  Please check with your airline for updates.

United Airlines and American Airlines are requesting you wait until you are within 72 hours of departure before calling to make changes.  You may also change flights online at United.com or AA.com.  If you used a 3rd party travel service, please contact them.  

 As a service of the City of Durango, our custodial staff is maintaining strict cleaning and disinfection of the airport terminal and passenger facilities as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Interim Guidance for Businesses and Employers.
