Community Room Rentals
The Durango Public Library offers several meeting rooms for rent to the public for meetings and special events. Fees are based on room size and organization type. Discounted rates are offered to non-profit groups. Two large rooms on the main level can be combined for larger groups. A smaller board-meeting room is available upstairs for smaller meetings or groups. Book one of our rooms for your next meeting, workshop, luncheon, or other special event.
Rental of a community room does not include advertising for your event on our website, in our calendar or on social media. Facebook or other social media co-hosting requests will be declined.
Study Rooms
The Library has 4 small study rooms available on a first-come, first-served basis at no charge. Rooms accommodate up to 5 people. There is a 2-hour time limit if others are waiting for a room. Once you vacate a room, please wait for one hour before requesting a study room again in that same day.
The study room in the Children’s Library is available to individuals or groups that include at least one person under the age of 17.
No advanced sign-ups will be accepted and no waiting list will be kept for the use of the study rooms. Sign-in is available at the Information Desk, Reference Desk, or Children’s Desk.
