Household batteries
The City of Durango and La Plata County have joined forces to offer household battery recycling opportunities around the county.
Single-use alkaline batteries are the most common household battery and include AAA, AA, C, D and 9-volt. Collection containers for these batteries and button batteries are now available in the following locations:
