Friends of the Durango Public Library is a nonprofit organization which supports and promotes the growth and development of library services. Projects and programs sponsored by the Friends are conducted throughout the year to stimulate public interest in the library.

Friends' memberships are available for $5.00 per year as an individual, or $10.00 per year for a family. Memberships may be purchased at the circulation desk at the library.
