Transit Center Traffic Flow
The City is in the process of developing a transit center that will be located on the Car Park in downtown Durango. The Transit Center will act as a central hub for public and private bus transportation and will house indoor and outdoor passenger waiting areas and restroom facilities.
Proposed Schedule:
1. Request for Proposals (RFP) available January 9, 2008
2. Deadline for questions/Clarification (must be submitted in writing) January 29, 2008
3. City of Durango Deadline for Responses and/or Addenda issued January 31, 2008
4. Proposals Due, 3:00 PM (Mountain Time) February 12, 2008
5. Evaluations of Proposals February 19, 2008
6. Notification of short-list and interviews schedule February 22, 2008
7. Interviews – Durango, Colorado Week of March 10, 2008
8. Notice of Awards no later then March 24, 2008
9. Architectural Package to Contractor, estimate March 31, 2008
10. Cost Model due form Selected CMGC (for City Council) April 15, 2008
11. Owner Review May 13, 2008
12. Finalize and Issue 100% Construction Drawings May 28, 2008
13. GMP due from CMGC June 25, 2008
14. Anticipated Start of Construction July 21, 2008
15. Anticipated Occupancy March 1, 2009
