The City of Durango adopted the Durango Community Park Master Plan on February 6, 2007. The 75-acre park is located in Three Springs and it will be the largest developed park in the City. The Master Plan includes sports fields for softball and soccer, tennis courts, a destination playground, walking trails, picnic areas, dog play area, and passive areas including a pond.

A series of public meetings were held in 2006 to design the proposed Community Park. A summary of this process and more specific details regarding the site and phased development of the park are included in the Master Plan.

Copies of the Community Park Master Plan are available for review at the Parks and Recreation Department administrative offices in the Recreation Center or at the Durango Public Library.

For more information please call Durango Parks and Recreation Department at 375-7300.
