Water Aerobics Classes

Tone, stretch and rejuvenate in the water! The Durango Recreation Center offers a variety of water aerobic classes to fit everyone's ability. The cost of the classes is just the price of admission into the Recreation Center, unless otherwise noted.

Water Aerobics Class Descriptions
Aqua Fit Fun Join the splashing, laughing and fun of water aerobics combined with movements that improve stretching, balance, and coordination.
Hydro-Robics
A moderate intensity water aerobics class using water weights to help sculpt those problem areas. Upbeat music makes this a fun class for everyone.
Liquid Works "An awesome total body workout," in the Leisure Pool which includes cardio, toning and stretching.  All levels welcome.
Paddle Boarding Practice paddle boarding skills.  $15 fee per class.  $11 to rent paddle board, but participants are welcome to bring their own. 
Yo-Quatics Yoga for "Every Body" takes place in the warm, enabling water of the leisure pool. Discover the many benefits of yoga in the "can do" environment of warm water.  No prior yoga experience required. This is an extra fee class. $7/class or $6/class when purchasing 5 or more punches.
Water Aerobics An energetic, full body workout. Begins in the lap pool with 45 minutes of low impact aerobics and resistance exercises in a circuit training format. Concludes in the warm pool with 10 minutes of full range stretching.
