Members of the Investigations Bureau conduct major investigations such as homicide, sexual assaults, and kidnapping and they follow up on current on-going cases.

Investigators also generate a Most Wanted poster.

The Chief Investigator is the Sergeant in charge of the Investigations Bureau.

 

The Durango Police Department Investigations Bureau offers fingerprinting services to the public on Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on a first come, first served basis. Cost for fingerprinting is $10.00 per card and must be paid at the time services are provided.

You must bring your own cards. If you cannot obtain them from your agency, call the State Forms Center at 303-370-2169 and the fingerprint cards can be mailed to you or email State form.  If you have questions, please call 970-375-4730.
