CITIZEN'S POLICE ACADEMY

The Citizens’ Police Academy allows members of the community to learn about the Durango Police Department directly from its officers. It is a ten-week program that meets one evening per week.  Segments include tactical operations, investigations, patrol procedures, crime scene processing and more.

Citizens’ Police Academy applications are accepted on an on-going basis for the annual class.
