ZONING INFORMATION

The primary function of the Department of Planning and Community Development is the planning, development, review and inspection of private and public development projects.

The department administers the Comprehensive Plan and the Land Use Development Code (LUDC), and develops area and topical plans.

It also performs policy analysis, data management and program administration (sign code, housing, historic preservation, design review, etc.).
