Vacation Rentals

Home vacation rentals are increasingly popular among homeowners as a way to supplement their incomes.

The City of Durango has adopted a vacation rental ordinance into the Land Use and Development Code, located in Section 10-1-27.

Among several requirements, there is a requirement that no vacation rental may be closer than 500 feet to an existing vacation rental and a requirement that all vehicles must be parked off-street.
