Boards and Commissions

The City of Durango Planning and Community Development Department has several Boards and Commissions to make recommendations and decisions about land use, design and historic preservation.

 

Planning and Community Development

The Planning and Community Development Department creates and implements the Land Use and Development Code, the Comprehensive Plan,and the Design Guidelines and manages development projects in accordance with city ordinances and state law.

Design Review

New commercial projects must comply with the Commercial Use Design Guidelines and obtain approval from the Design Review Board.

 

Documents Available for Download or Purchase

Planning and Community Development rules, guidelines, plans and the Land Use and Development Code are available to the public. These documents can be downloaded from our website or purchased at our office in River City Hall located at 1235 Camino del Rio.


Historic Preservation

Signs
