La Plata County and the City of Durango have joined forces to develop a future transportation plan for the region, called 2030 TRIP. Information about 2030 TRIP, including maps of existing transportation networks and travel in the region, is available on the project’s new website, www.2030TRIP.com.

The website also provides updates on the public involvement activities, including public meeting notices and summaries of what the community is saying. A summary of comments received at the first public meeting on March 7th is now available. The summary shows what questions people have about transportation in the region as well as their suggestions for specific roadway, bicycle, pedestrian and transit improvements to study in the plan. Additional public comments on transportation priorities can be communicated online by using the comment form posted on the new site.
