Licensing
Business Licensing
Business licenses are administered by the City Clerk's Office. Application for a business license is made through the City Clerk's Office.
There is a $30 application fee in addition to license fee(s), as well as for changes in location.
The review process requires a minimum of two weeks, and approval must be obtained before a license may be issued.
Home-Based Businesses
License fees for home-based businesses are identical to those for standard licenses. The Special Use Permit needed to operate a home-based business require an application for a Special Use Permit through the Planning & Community Development Office. There may be a one-time $50 review fee required. The fee is assessed for administrative reviews that involve potential commercial impact to the neighborhood and public noticing to affected property owners.
