Gametime / Childcare
A variety of childcare programs are provided by the City Parks and Recreation Department including Gametime and daycare activities at the Durango Community Recreation Center.

Afterschool Gametime

Children are kept active and entertained in a safe, supervised environment. This after-school program runs Monday through Friday. Transportation is provided from Needham, Park and Riverview Elementary Schools to the Durango Community Recreation Center. Children need to be picked up by parents/guardians at the Recreation Center by 6:00 p.m. Swim Days are Mondays.

Kids Days

No school? No worries! When the kids are out of school, check out our popular all day "Kids Days" program. The program offers a lot of supervised games, and activities to keep your child(ren) safe, happy, and entertained. 

Spring Break March 26 - 30 and April 2 Kids day Schedules:

Group 1 age 5 and 6

Kids Club
The Durango Community Recreation Center offers childcare for infants and children up to 9 years old for $3.50 per hour up to a maximum of two hours, so parents may enjoy the recreation facility. $55/20 hour punch pass.

 Kids Club Hours 
 Monday - Thursday: 
8:00 am - 1:15 pm 
4:00 pm  - 7:00 pm 
8:00 am - 1:15 pm 
8:00 am - 12:00 pm 

Parent's Night Out
The Durango Community Recreation Center offers a special program just for kids aged 4 to 10 so adults can go see a movie, go out to dinner, or just have time alone. See the current brochure for the Friday evenings that are offered.  See Guest Services staff for registration.
