Three Springs Conceptual Development Plan and Development Agreement Amendments
The City of Durango is working with the Growth Fund to revise and update portions of the overall development plan for Three Springs.

Vacation Rentals
The City of Durango conducted  a process to get neighborhood feedback on the number of vacation rentals that should be allowed in the EN-1 and EN-2 zoning districts. The City Council adopted updated vacation rental standards as part of the new LUDC and the Community Development Department is now administering the vacation rental program, which includes noticing neighors of new VR applications, issuing permits for VRs, and taking enforcement action against VRs that are operating illegally. La Posta Road Area Plan

The Durango City Council adopted this Plan following a public hearing on Tusday, November 5, 2013, adopting it as an amendment to the 2007 Durango Comprehensive Plan.

New Land Use & Development Code (LUDC) Implementation

The City Council adopted an updated Land Use and Development Code in early 2014 and it became effective on July 1, 2014. The Code contains all applicable development  and land use regulations for property within the City of Durango.
