Upcoming Stormwater Master Plan Public Meeting!

On Wednesday, December 14th, City Staff will be hosting a public meeting to discuss updates to the City Stormwater Master Plan, from 4:30PM-6:00PM in the Eolus Room of the Recreation Center (2700 Main Avenue).

Drafts of the Table of Contents for the first ten chapters are available below for general review. Please note these documents are drafts, and will be changing as the project continues. Contact the Engineering Division at (970)-375-4810 for questions or additional information.

Stormwater Quality Program

The City of Durango is required to permit, regulate and enforce best management practices to ensure that all rivers and streams are protected from construction site stormwater run-off.

All construction in the City of Durango that will disturb one (1) acre of land or more will require a City of Durango Stormwater Quality Permit.
