City Government Communications


The officials of the City of Durango believe that communication between a government and its citizens is one of the most vital aspects of an effective community. For that reason, we provide as many forums as possible to both receive and send information to you.

You can get information regarding meetings, special events, government services and policies 24 hours a day from our automated telephone line (385-4636), City Span 10 Government Access cable channel 10, and our web site at www.durangogov.org. Additionally, the Durango Herald publishes a schedule every week, which contains a listing of City of Durango public meetings.

Finally, you can always receive information personally by calling your government departments directly or stopping by any one of their offices. For more information, visit the City Manager's office located at 949 E. 2nd Avenue during normal business hours, or call 375-5005.
