City Clerk

The Durango City Clerk's Office has administrative responsibility for preserving the history of Durango's municipal government through management of all City records, including minutes, resolutions, agreements and contracts, easements, titles, and deeds.

The City Clerk serves as clerk to the City Council, secretariat to the Durango Local Licensing Authority, and Election Commission Chair. The City Clerk conducts municipal elections, issues liquor, business, and sales tax licenses, and prepares City Council agendas.

The City Clerk is custodian of the City Seal, maintains the Municipal Charter and Code, attests legal documents, and administers oaths.
