Greenmount Cemetery

The cemetery division maintains Durango's 40-acre Greenmount Cemetery, which dates back to the early 1900s. There are more than 10,000 graves with sections specifically set aside for the Elks, Catholics, Masons and Veterans. For information regarding these special sections, please contact the appropriate fraternity.

Grave sites may be purchased by visiting the cemetery office located at Greenmount Cemetery. They may be purchased pre-need, if desired.  The deeds are issued by the Parks and Cemetery Staff at the Greenmount Cemetery.
