On November 6, 2007, the City of Durango City Council adopted the 2006 International Codes (I-Codes) listed below. Officials recognized the need for modern, up-to-date codes that would address various design and installation issues and establish minimum requirements. The regulations have been designed to safeguard the public health and safety.

IFGC - International Fuel Gas Code

IECC - International Energy Conservation Code

NEC - National Electrical Code, as regulated by the State of Colorado
