Electrical Permits

• The State of Colorado requires electrical permits on all electrical installations in the State of Colorado
• Homeowners can obtain their own permits and do their own wiring for their primary place of residence
• If the permit is obtained by an individual, other than the homeowner, that individual must be a Colorado-licensed electrical contractor and have a City of Durango business license
