Have you seen? The Administration building at the Santa Rita Water Reclamation Facility (SRWRF) is now rubble! Crews have been at work demolishing the Administration building. This past month, a live-camera was installed on top of one of the buildings at the SRWRF, allowing community members to see what's happening around the site. Check it out!
STAR Communities

Durango Recognized for Sustainability Leadership


The City of Durango is pleased to announce that it has been formally certified in the STAR Community Rating System (STAR). Clean Commute Week

Business Commuter Challenge Winners Announced; Celebration Rescheduled for today, July 13th


First place winners include Abadie Schill PC, Russell Planning and Engineering, Ska Brewing Co, and StoneAge Inc. The Love Your Commute Celebration and Awards is rescheduled for Thursday, July 13 at Ska Brewing Company, 5 to 7 p.m. More info here.

The City of Durango is seeking applications for community support block grants and micro grants! Come to the public meeting to review the opportunity and process today July 13, 2017 from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. at City Hall (949 East 2nd Avenue). Applications available now, and are due August 10th. Did You Know? 


The City bought a new police car in 1935 for $658. 

At its regular meeting on July 2, 1935, Council authorized $657.62 for the purchase of a late model 1935 Ford 2-door sedan, fully equipped for use as a police car.
