TRX Rip Training is Back!

The Durango Community Recreation Center will host two TRX Rip Trainer workshops on Saturday, April 21 and Sunday, April 22 with newly certified instructor Katie Patty. The workshops will take place from 12:15 – 1:15 p.m. each day in the aerobics studio at the Recreation Center. The fee for each workshop is $10.00.

The TRX Rip Trainer is an innovative resistance cord system that connects to a stable point on a structure and creates a variable, unbalanced load that enables students to develop core strength, explosive power, flexibility and endurance. The Rip Training techniques are designed to engage the body as a single coordinated system and rely on stability and mobility.

The TRX Rip Trainer workshops at the Recreation Center will consist of a fast-paced workout routine with repetition-based sets separated by rest periods. Patty has created workshops focused on functional strength and endurance in order to burn maximum calories. The workshops will provide a total body workout with a focus on strength, flexibility and power.
