Presenter Proposal Form
The Durango Public Library is committed to providing programs for all ages that are of local interest and cover a broad spectrum of topics and viewpoints. Particular emphasis is placed on programs that build and support literacy (know-how) of all kinds, foster community connections, and highlight the library’s collection.
- Programming associated with the Summer Reading Program are planned and booked 6 months in advance. All other programs are planned and booked 3 months in advance.
- At this time we are not accepting proposals from storytime presenters.
- Are you an author? Please see Durango Public Library's Collection Development Policy before submitting a proposal. We do not typically host authors that do not meet our purchasing guidelines.
- If you are interested in selling books or CDs at your program, please be aware that any sales or solicitation activities will require a City of Durango Business/Sales Tax Permit. You can find more information and an application here. No other forms or sales or solicitations are appropriate during a library program.
